The foot has a border of acanthus foliage, and a row of beading at the junction of the stem with the body, which has a calyx of laurel leaves. The body is decorated on one side with a small child beside a standing woman who is comforting another to the left, who has a small sheep beside her and Cupid and a ewer behind her. On the extreme left and right there is a tree. On the other side, there is a woman carrying an infant, with a small child, a ewer, and a cradle on the left, and a dragonfly over head. There is a laurel wreath on the shoulder, elongated anthemions and a band of guilloche round the neck, and beading round the rim.</value>
