The stand itself has been modified by the addition of the central masks at least. This bronze, the only recorded example, can be attributed to Foggini on the basis of an almost identical wax model in the Museo di Doccia, which was mentioned in an inventory of about 1780 as having been cast from piece moulds made by Foggini.
