Stoneware, thrown, with applied lug, and celadon-glazed. The neck of this classic Koryo bottle is long and straight and the body is globular. A wide low foot gives it stability. A loop is attached to the neck to which a lid could be fastened which now, however, is missing. The neck is finely incised with cloud motifs and a band of double lotus petals, and the shoulder with a youi-head border. Six lotus sprays with fully-opened blooms are arranged around the body, drawn in precisely incised lines, and a classic-scroll border is above the foot. The celadon glaze is of semi-opaque pale green colour and evenly covers the vessel. It has a slightly lustrous surface and is covered with a fine crackle.
