Stoneware, thrown, with parts attached, washed with iron-oxide, painted in white slip and celadon-glazed. The vessel has a long wide neck and a rounded body that tapers towards the base. The handle and parts of the spout and the rim have been restored, and the cover is missing. The footring is broad and low. The whole surface is coloured with iron-oxide, decorated on either side with a freely-painted foliage spray in white slip, and covered with a celadon glaze.
