Oval with deep curved sides, sloping rim with a slightly wavy edge, and two handles in the form of swan's heads and necks rising from stylized feathers on the interior, and curving inwards so that their beaks rest on the feathers. The interior of the rim, and the top edge of the boot have 'embossed borders' moulded integrally with the body, comprising pairs of dolphins with entwined tails separated by a vase flanked by two wings or foliage, with scrolls above. The interior is decorated with a spray of white lilies; one side has a water lily, four leaves and roots, and the other side, a spray of lily of the valley. There is a heavy gold line round the foot, the rim, and the outlines of the swan's feathers. Their beaks are gilded overall and their eyes are picked out in gold.
