Decorated in the centre with the inscription '5/but if his/wijfe doth frowne', with above, a crown, below, a winged cherub's head flanked by C-scrolls with three pendant tassels, and on each side, a winged deer's head facing outwards with a C-scroll below, all enclosed by two narrow concentric circles round the edge of the well.
