She has worked with a range of materials, including PVC, stainless steel and acrylics, laser cut or stamped out with dyes, scored, folded and glued. Her work is sculptural and plays with rich colours and geometric shapes. A more recent interest is in paper, a natural material which offers new freedoms in design and making, including simple, slow hand-building processes. In these pieces, she has layered strips of corrugated paper with PVA, creating bold, 3-dimensional blocks of colour and pattern and exploiting the flexibility of the strips to explore curves.
