Cylindrical with recessed base, and domed cover, with an unglazed flange which fits inside the jar, and an applied knob in the shape of a rose bud, a smaller undeveloped bud, and three leaves on a stalk. The jar is decorated with one large floral spray comprising a tulip, a rose, forget-me-knots, convolvulus and pink daisies, and four smaller floral sprays. The cover is decorated with one large and one small floral spray, and has a dark puce band round the outer edge.
