    <value>Buff earthenware with greyish tin-glaze, painted in blue. Circular with deep curved sides standing on a high footring. The inside is inscribed in the centre with the place name and date 'Wincanton/1738' within two narrow concentric circles. The sides are decorated with three sprays of flowers and there  is a narrow band below the rim. The outside is decorated with two tiers of panels each containing a symmetrical stylized plant with a flower.</value>
