Circular bowl with deep curved sides and projecting rim, standing on a footring. The domed cover, which is luted to the bowl, has a large central hole and sixteen smaller ones. The sides and cover are decorated with Chinese figures standing or sitting in front of a fence amongst hillocks and shrubs. Three narrow bands run round the central hole and the edge of the cover.
