German blown glass goblet with prunts

An image of Continental glass. Goblet. Unknown glasshouse, Germany. The cylindrical bowl has an everted rim, and stands on a baluster stem, and circular folded foot. The bowl has a band of trailing half-way up the side and two bands below the rim. On either side of the first band there is a row of twelve alternately large blue prunts and smaller greyish olive-green prunts. Pale greyish, olive-green glass, blown, and decorated with trailing and and applied blue and pale greyish, olive-green prunts. Height, 12.3 cm, diameter, 10 cm, after 1600 to before 1650. Sir Ivor and Lady Batchelor Bequest through The Art Fund.
