The saucer is bat-printed in grey with four octagonal panels representing 'The Four Seasons', picked out in coloured enamels and reserved within gilt-edged borders which are separated by gilt half flowerheads; the centre has a gilt foliate sprig. The tea cup is decorated with three panels en suite; and the coffee can with two panels en suite.
