'Wedding Ring', however, required greater skill to apply smooth application of turpentine-thinned colours smoothly, varying brush strokes to achieve dark and lighter shades within each band. It became one of Susie Cooper’s most popular designs, in production from the early 1930s until the 1960s, available through the department store, John Lewis.
