The Virgin sits on a semi-circular throne with a winged cherub's head on each side at the front. She wears a long-sleeved yellow and orange striped gown and a blue cloak scattered with yellow stars. The infant Christ holding an orb sits on her right knee, and she supports a book on her left knee. The green base is decorated along the shaped front edge with three winged cherub's heads in relief. The top is inscribed in manganese `CF/PC/1676 16../S M'. The back of the throne is inscribed in blue `A.D.22D./MARZO/ 1676/.CDF./ P '.
