Glass Candlestick. Unknown glassmaker, probably Staffordshire. Opaque-white glass, painted in polychrome enamels, enamelled copper drip pan with gilt-metal rim, incised twist stem, domed circular foot. Painted on the foot with flowers and butterflies, and on the nozzle and drip pan with sprays of flowers, height, whole, 23.0 cm, diameter, whole, 12.0 cm, circa 1755-1765. Rococo.
