Sculpture/figure. Hercules. Unknown maker, Florence. Hercules stands on his right leg with his left leg advanced. His right arm is held across his body, the hand grasping a club. His left hand rests on the top of a tree stump. There is a drape around his hips. Bronze, cast, standing on a green and black marble base, height, whole, 16.1 cm, circa 1670-1700. Production Note: Bronze, a casting disaster. It is of interest due to this fact.
