Sculpture/Bust. King Charles II (1630-1685). Bushnell, John (British, c.1606-1701). Terracotta, height 78.5 cm, circa 1678. Baroque. The King's head is turned to the front, facing and looking half-right. He has a small moustache and a long, curling periwig, falling over both shoulders. He wears armour, with a double chain holding the Garter medallion of St George, a lace trimmed cravat tied in a bow, and a cloak draped over his left shoulder.
