Contemporary Craft. Inner Rimmed Vessel. Woodwork. Flynn, Liam (Irish). Of elongated ovoid form with a double rim, the outer one larger and a different shape from the inner one, which has a hole on one side under the outer rim. The edge of the outer rim is bordered by close-set carved striations. On one side of the exterior there is a subsantial knot in the wood. Irish oak, turned and carved, height, whole, 27 cm, width, whole, 36.7 cm, made before 25 January 2008. Gift of Nicholas and Judith Goodison through The Art Fund.
