Contemporary Craft. Studio Ceramics. Bowl. Tchelenko, Janice (British, b. 1942). Not quite circular with deep, curved sides, and slightly everted rim, standing on a footring. The sides have throwing ridges. The glazes have been applied to create a variegated runny effect. High-fired, reduced stoneware, thrown, painted with blue, green, dark pink buff and cream glazes, height, whole, 13.2 cm, diameter, rim, 30.8 cm, diameter, foot, 11.3 cm, dated 1996. Gift of Nicholas and Judith Goodison through the National Art Collections Fund.
