An image of Broc ordinaire. Part of a dejeuner comprising a tray, cup and saucer, and sugar basin and cover. Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory. Vielliard, André-Vincent (French, 1717-90, act.1752-1790). The reserve is painted in polychrome with a man and woman peasant sitting on a bench in front of a cottage with a landscape in the background. Soft-paste porcelain decorated with an underglaze blue lapis ground, painting overglaze in blue, and gilded, height 11.3cm, width 8.6cm, circa 1759. Rococo.
