Engraved gems. Magical amulet. Obverse: Harpocrates crouching on a lotus flower. Type as for CG 495. Reverse: scarabaeus beetle. Intaglio cutting, lapis lazuli, 13 mm x 10 mm, circa 100-circa 300. Possibly Ptolemaic, more likely Roman Imperial.
