Engraved gems. Magical amulet. Obverse: a stiff Chnoubis, upright, with its head turned left and radiating short rays. The creature's tail is looped once. In two rows along the left side of the gem in a legend, written in retrograde and deeply incised. Reverse: the sign for Chnoubis written once. Intaglio cutting, plasma, 12 mm x 9.5 mm, circa 200-circa 400 AD. Roman Imperial.
