Engraved greywacke gem with Anubis

An image of Engraved gems. Magical amulet. Obverse: Anubis standing with his body to the front and his head and feet turned left; his arms are behind his back or missing. The jackal-headed god wears a short skirt and, upon his head, a large lotus bud, or spherical orb and uraei. Ground line. There is a legend to the left and right of the figure. The reverse is blank. Intaglio cutting, greywacke, 19 mm x 14.5 mm, circa 100-circa 300 AD. Roman Imperial.
