  <description>
    <value>Hybrid hard-paste porcelain, press-moulded, glazed and painted overglaze in black and dark puce enamels, and gilded. Oval with shallow sloping sides and flat centre; the base slightly recessed. The glaze on the base has a large number of tiny pinholes, and there are a few on the front. The stand is decorated in the centre with a gold sprig with three rose hips, and round the edge with a border comprising a continuous wavy gold spray with small gold leavs, and groups of three rose hips pointing alternatvely upwards and downwards. A gold band encircles the rim.</value>
