Shaw studied anthropology at Durham University before completing an MA in ceramics and glass at the Royal College of Art, in 2013. Alongside her ceramics, Shaw has worked at the Victoria & Albert Museum, Dulwich Picture Gallery and The Fitzwilliam Museum.
