  <description>
    <value>Buff stoneware, the upper part partially dipped dark brown, and salt-glazed. The flask is moulded in the form a woman standing beside a column. She is shown facing to the front, and has her hair dressed with a centre parting and long ringlets in bunches on either side of her face and neck. She wears a decollet&#xE9; high waisted dress and in her right hand holds up the skirt slightly so that her right toe is visible. In her left hand she holds to her breast a bird with outstretched wings. The back impressed 'DENBY &amp; CODNOR PARK. BOURNE'S POTTERIES. DERBYSHIRE</value>
