The bulbous bowl stands on three small feet with reliefs of foliage above them, and between them, applied twisted volutes. The cover is slightly domed with a wide border, and has on top a handle in the form of six volutes radiating from a shallow dish in which is perched a bird. The areas of brown ground are scattered with small flower heads painted in cream and yellow, and the volutes on the cover are alternately green and yellow.
