An image of Cup and Saucer/Teacup. New Hall Porcelain Factory, Staffordshire. The cup is of London shape, and the saucer is circular with deep sloping sides, standing on a footring. The exterior of the cup and the interior of the saucer are decorated with a landscape featuring a building with a tower, and a crenellated wing, a ball-shaped beehive, and flanked by stylized trees and bushes, and with a flowering plant in the foreground. The interior of the cup has a gold border of bell flowers with a horizontal band below, gold bands on the edges of rim and foot, and a gilded handle. The saucer has a gold band round the rim. Pattern 570. Bone china? and hybrid hard-paste porcelain, painted underglaze in blue, and overglaze (presumed lead) in red enamel and gilding, height, cup, 6.5 cm, width, cup, 10.5 cm, diameter, cup, 8.9 cm, height, saucer, 3 cm, diameter, saucer, 14.2 cm, circa 1800-1810. Imari Style.
