An image of Crucifix, with an applied bronze figure of Christ. Ground of dark blue is relieved with lozenges and circles of many colours. The centre of the cross is dark green shading off to a yellow. At the foot are the rocks of Golgotha and a beardless figures rising from a tomb. Oak, covered with copper, champlevé and enamelled, height 34 cm, width 18 cm, depth 1.5 cm, circa 1200 to 1300. Limoges, France. Romanesque, Medieval.
