Jewellery. The Helper Pendant. Traquair, Phoebe Anna (British, 1852-1936). The quatrefoil gold frame is set with an enamelled plaque of an angel helping Christ to carry the Cross. On the right and left sides of the frame there are circular protrusions, and below, three drops, all enamelled to resemble opals. There is a loop for suspension at the top. The back is inscribed in black 'the/helper/PAT (in monogram) 1903'. In red leather case (A).
