Islamic metalwork. Brass casket inlaid with silver and gold, with a hinged lid; relief decoration and silver and gold inlay. A twisted copper and brass strip has been added on the body and rim, along with a later iron closing clasp. Height, whole, 27.3 cm, width, whole, 22.8 cm, depth, whole, 11.8 cm, circa 1366-1368. Mamluk.
