Its halter is attached to a ring through its nose and thrown over its back; bulging eyes inlaid with ivory and black pupils. The body is lightly incised and stained. Wood, carved, incised and stained, eyes inlaid with ivory, 1800-1868. Himotoshi on the underside. Edo Period (1615-1868). Japanese.
