An image of Brush Washer. Opaque celadon jade, well hollowed and carved with gnarled branches of prunus blossoms issuing from underneath a magnolia flower. Nephrite/jade, height 9 cm, length 17 cm, circa 1500-1700. Chinese. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Stolen 13 April 2012.
