Hackgold. Ingot fragment. A rounded ingot terminal cut from an ingot of rectangular cross-section, of worked gold. Where the terminal has been cut from the rest of the bar there is also another cut (1-2mm deep) which is a missed strike or similar. Find Spot: Torksey, Lincolnshire. Viking. 800-999.
