Low fired earthernware plate with a foliate rim and creamy white glaze (lead based with tin oxide) with a fine crackle. Unknown potter, Burma. A circle on the base shows that a tubular kiln support was used. 1450-1499. Acquisition: Dr John Shakeshaft Bequest.
