Studio Ceramics. Seto oil dish (aburazara). Low fired grey stoneware body covered with pinkish-buff crackled glaze, and decorations in iron brown of two flowers and a butterfly/moth. Seven spur marks. Seto ware. Height 2.2 cm, diameter, widest point, 21.6 cm, diameter, base, 13.1 cm. Japanese. Acquisition: Dr John Shakeshaft Bequest.
