Relief portrait of Mrs Mary Thomas in profile to right wearing a lace edged cap and fichu, mounted on a blue-grey opaque background mounted in an oval, glazed, pearwood frame with a gilt metal suspension ring at the top. Height, frame, 17.4 cm, width, frame, 13.8 cm, 1798. Neoclassical. Sir Ivor and Lady Batchelor Bequest.
