The glass is of flattened oval form with gadrooning round the base, and on the sides, the inscription AVE MARIA between horizontal bands of ribbing. Bluish-green mould-blown glass, height, whole, 8.9 cm, length, whole, 6.3 cm, circa 1600-1650. Sir Ivor and Lady Batchelor Bequest through The Art Fund.
