Continental glass. Mug. Unknown glasshouse, Spain, Granada province. The mug has a projecting circular foot with a pontil mark in the centre. The sides slope outwards to the rim which has an applied manganese-brown cord round its edge. A milled manganese-brown band of varying wide is applied a short distance above the foot. The handled is thicker and wider at the top than at its base which is curled under and extends upwards on the side of the mug to meet the top of the handle. Pale green glass, blown, with an applied manganese-brown cord, a milled brown band, and an applied brown handle. Height, whole, 10.4 cm, width, whole, 13.2 cm, diameter, rim, 9.3 cm, circa 1700-1800.
