Etching, drypoint, engraving, black carbon ink on laid paper, height, plate, 243 mm, width, plate, 192 mm; height, sheet, 249 mm, width, sheet, 199 mm, 1647. Production Note: IV/IV. Notes: The sitter was in frequent contact with Rembrandt, perhaps from 1641, when the artist painted Six's mother, to 1655. He became the Burgomaster of Amsterdam in 1691.
