Etching, black carbon ink on laid paper, height, plate, 113 mm, width, plate, 43 mm; height, sheet, 122 mm, width, sheet, 54 mm, 1634. Production Note: Only state. Notes: TThis print was intended as a companion piece to another image of a peasant, replying to this scene by calling out 'Dats neit' (Not at all), based on a pair of sixteenth century prints by the German 'little master' Sebald Beham.
