Textiles. Cot cover. The ground is covered by a design formed by stylised rose sprigs, the stems of which form an ogival lattice. Within each compartment is a stylised leaf, the background being quilted in a vermicular design. Linen, lined with coarser stuff, worked with yellow and a little white silk, in back, buttonhole, chain, double back, French knots, stem stitches. Length, whole, 37.25 in, width, whole, 21.5 in, circa 1700-circa 1724. English.
