Nezu no ban (Sleepless vigil) Nezumi Tsukushi Jûni Takara (A Catalogue of Rats: Twelve Treasures). Eisen, Keisai (Japanese, 1790-1848). Shikishi-ban format surimono, signed Keisai. Woodcut, colour printing, circa 1825. Notes: Parody of the Yukashita scene in the Kabuki play Meiboku Sendai Hagi; Cf. from the same series as P.253,254,255-1937.
