Pen and black ink, light brown wash, heightened with white (slightly oxidised), traces of graphite underdrawing, surrounded by ruled ink line, on laid paper, stuck to album sheet, which has been cut to show the verso of the support. Height, support, 280 mm, width 223 mm; height, leaf, 397 mm, width 301 mm. Leather bound album containing 161 drawings. Cover boards with gold tooling. Edges of leaves gilt.
