Portrait of Laura Forster. Richmond, George (British, 1809-1896). Black and white chalks on grey paper, height, sheet size, 435 mm, width, sheet size, 289 mm, circa 1845. The drawing is not dated, but the age of the sitter alone enables us to suggest c. 1845. On the verso there is a sketch of two animals (lionesses?) in black chalk with white highlights.
