Bowl. Unknown production, China. Circular bowl, with deep sides and everted rim, standing on a foot ring. Decorated inside underglaze in blue and outside in underglaze 'cafe-au-lait' wheel cut out with birds, insects and plants. The wheel cutting is European or Indo-Persian. Two cracks extending downwards from the rim, several small chips in the rim, and one chip in the foot rim. Hard-paste porcelain, underglaze colour, height, 7.4 cm, diameter, 16.5 cm, Kangxi Period (1662-1722).
