Netsuke/katabori. Dancer. Rakumin, Edo Period (1603-1868). Smiling figure of a dancer wearing a kimono and a hat tied beneath his chin and holding a drum under his left arm. His hair and features are stained for effect. Himotoshi at the back. Ivory, carved and stained, circa 1800-1868. Edo Period.
