  • Miniature (painting). A female dancer. Calligraphy on reverse by Mahmud ibn Mawlana Khwaja, Kabul, 1546-7. Faces repainted c.1565. Unknown miniaturist. Bodycolour and gold on paper, height, sheet size, 191 mm, width, sheet size, 107 mm, circa 1560. Bukhara School. Production Note: 'Mughal, c. 1560' , M.C. Beach. Pair with PD.163-1948. Acquisition Credit: Bequeathed 1946 by P.C. Manuk and Miss G.M. Coles, through the National Art Collections Fund.
