  • Miniature. Krishna and Radha seated on the marriage couch in an upper room. Unknown miniaturist, Kangra School. Unfinished drawing. Watercolour, graphite, green wash and red chalk, within ruled black ink lines, on white primed paper, height 239 mm, width 180 mm, circa 1800. Production Note: The artist has first drawn the composition in red chalk, adding pen and black ink to define the forms. The sharply receding flower beds, and angular architecture show the influence of the Guler school. Acquisition Credit: Bequeathed 1946 by P.C. Manuk and Miss G.M. Coles, through the National Art Collections Fund.
