The vase comprises a flattened obelisk with four spouts at its base, and two feet, standing on the top of a heart-shaped stand with four spouts on the shoulders, two lizard-shaped handles, and a rectangular foot. The two long sides of the obelisk are decorated with a pyramidal arrangements of flowers and scrolls reserved in a blue ground, and the two short sides with a vertical spray of flowers and foliage on a white ground. All the spouts are decorated with pointed leaf motifs pointing downwards. One side of the heart-shaped stand is decorated with a seated woman holding a cornucopia (Flora?) surrounded by flowering plants with above, on the right, a bird, and the left an insect. The other side is decorated with a seated couple in contemporary dress, seated in a landscape.
